Booking terms & conditions at Eikerapen Gjestegaard
Cancellation and no show
An agreement concerning hotel reservation is binding for both parties. If one party breaches the agreement, that party is obliged to pay compensation to the other party. If the hotel has incurred additional costs due to the booking, the guest must pay these costs in full. Compensation for rooms not used is calculated according to the following business practice:
a) General rule:
If the guest does not arrive and has not cancelled the room by 18.00 (6 p.m.) on the day before arrival, the guest must pay the full room rate for the stay as booked.
b) In the event of illness:
In the event of illness, the guest must pay the full room rate for the stay. It is the guest’s responsibility to check whether the amount may be reimbursed through travel insurance.
a) General rule:
If the group does not arrive and has not cancelled the rooms booked, the group must pay the full amount of the stay as booked.
b) Late cancellation:
To avoid being liable for compensation, cancellations must be made no later than 28 days weeks before arrival. For bookings where the arrival date is less than 28 days, this deadline is 14 days weeks from the date the booking confirmation is sent.
Cancellations made 27 to 14 days before arrival: The group must pay 50% of the total price.
Cancellations made between 13 days and 48 hours before arrival: The group must pay 75% of the total price.
If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before arrival, the guest must pay the same compensation as for no show.
Exceptions may be made to these rules, providing these are agreed in writing and specified in the booking confirmation or e-mail sent to the client/event organiser.
Our room rates are recommended prices, which may vary due to promotions, seasons and events at and near the hotel.
